Unless you live on the moon, actually you still would of heard, what happened in Boston last January 31st. The Boston police mistakenly identified a small electronic device (Pic below, kinda) in the city of Boston and the surrounding cities as improvised explosive devices.
The devices found turned out to be battery-powered LED placards with an image of a “mooninite†flipping people off, HAHA. The placards were part of a guerrilla marketing campaign to promote the new Aqua Teen Hunger Force movie.
When the “terrorists” were caught and arrested they were asked to hold a press conference. Since they were instructed by their lawyer not talk about the case, they decided to only discuss and answer questions about haircuts from the 70′s.
Classic!!!
One of the best guerrilla marketing campaign’s I’ve seen. Worked perfectly!

For anyone looking for something other than American Idol, Dancing With The Stars and whatever other crap that is now on TV, I strongly suggest the IFC channels sketch comedy show, The Whitest Kids You Know!
I have to say, this is one of the greatest sketch comedy shows I’ve seen since The State which came on MTV way back in the 90′s.
Some of my favorite sketches have to be The Dino Rap and Fart Dinner just to name a few. Seriously, a few of us in the office here at NextStudent Loans watched some of these videos and we were crying laughing. My stomach seriously hurt.
Definitely check out some of the sketches online at IFC.com and look for their new season (season 2) coming in 11 days.

Since the announcement by MTV that Rob & Big would be shooting a season 3 of their show “Rob & Big” I’ve been anxiously awaiting the release of the show. I’ve had 01/8/2008 (the air date for the new episode) marked on my calender since.
Well good news, the wait is over! The first episode of Rob & Big is now early and FOR FREE at iTunes! Whaaaat?!?!? That’s right, free and early! Check it out, it’s freaking hilarious. Everything from doodoo’s in the pool to net guns are in this episode. Great laughs and very entertaining!
For those of you who don’t use iTunes, check out the episode Tuesday Jan. 8th, 2008 at 10:30pm EST on MTV.
