Of that time I’ve been working in the NextStudent Web Marketing department for the last 1 1/2 years. Going in I had a marketing degree from the University of Phoenix but I knew absolutely nothing about online marketing. However, with the guidance of Chris Hooley and others I’ve learned a ton of information and I’m now heading up the SEO side of things. Got to say I love my job and even though the industry is ruff now, thanks to the brilliant minds that run this country, I see myself working at NextStudent for a very long time. wOrd! The Boston police mistakenly identified a small electronic device (Pic below, kinda) in the city of Boston and the surrounding cities as improvised explosive devices. The devices found turned out to be battery-powered LED placards with an image of a “mooninite” flipping people off, HAHA. The placards were part of a guerrilla marketing campaign to promote the new Aqua Teen Hunger Force movie. When the “terrorists” were caught and arrested they were asked to hold a press conference. Since they were instructed by their lawyer not talk about the case, they decided to only discuss and answer questions about haircuts from the 70’s. Classic!!! One of the best guerrilla marketing campaign’s I’ve seen. Worked perfectly! Nerds: 1, The Law: 0!
